This page, normally.dedicated to the Editors pep talkGabes gab, in a friends wordsis now handed over to whom it legitimately belongs: you, the reader of this Journal. Your enthusiasm and encouragement (see Letters) have made it possible for it to reach this third issue on schedule and with increasingly informative and interesting articles in each issue.
Now its your turn to tell us in more specific terms what you think and how we can make this publication even more entertaining and useful.
First well ask you to answer a few questions about the hardware and software you use to browse the World-Wide Web. We must have this information so that we can decide what features we can include in future issues of the Journal. For example, this issue, for the first time, carries an article containing Greek characters that do not appear properly with some older browsers. In the next issue of the Translation Journal, well publish the statistical summary of this survey.
We will also ask you to nominate a fellow translator as the Translator Profile of the next issue. As the Journal is becoming more and more international, we feel that it should reach out to find translators with interesting career histories, who can offer insight and guidance to younger or would-be translators, wherever they live and in whatever language combinations they work.
Please take a few minutes to complete the form on this page. The information you give us will be kept confidential and will not be released to third parties.
