I had a look and I liked it. Its now on my Favourites (Bookmark) list. Little problem: the pictures and graphics slow down the process considerably.

I am ... very grateful for your technically wide approach enabling people with different browsers and older/slower software to read, download, and print the articles.

Dei uma olhada e ADOREI, ADORANDO. Ainda não pude ver tudo (o tempo urge e o cliente ruge), mas o artigo do Danilo está imperdibilidíssimo, daqueles de tirar o chapéu e tirar uma cópia para guardar no arquivo permanente de consulta; o artigo sobre Legal Translation alemão/inglês parece ser muito interessante para os tedescos da lista.

Congratulations on your fine publication and its excellent selection of articles! Mestre Danilos The Language of Inflation was a superb lesson on such an intricate aspect of the Brazilian economy. Brazilian Portuguese translators should save it as a valuable reference. Looking forward to the next issue of the Journal.

VERY nice. Thank you, Gabe. A real gift to the translation community.

Quería decirle que el segundo número del Journal está MAGNIFICO. Sobre todo me encantó leer el artículo de Chris Durban The Onionskin.

Your Journal is wonderfuleasy to read and navigate, pleasing to the eye, interesting, entertaining, and obviously put together with love and care. Congratulations on yet another grand success.

To translate is as a rule to walk through a minefield, and although informative tips abound that make the journey less dangerous, reliable guides are in short supply. Some excellent guidance, however, has been provided to networked translators by The Language of Inflation.
This article extricates the hidden meaning of a handful of Portuguese terms used in connection with the recent inflation crisis in Brazilterms so many of us have long tried to graspand provides reasonable equivalents. Better still, Danilo Nogueira accomplishes his task not only with simplicity of style, but also with the finest sort of ironythe one that leaves the reader wondering whether or not the author himself was aware of it.
Its a translators dream, and I could not thank you more for publishing it.

This morning I spent some time reading your Translation Journal and found some very interesting information. I read P. Danaher and Cathy Flicks articles among others. I point these out because although I have decided to become a scientific translator, sometimes I wonder if I will manage it or if I will be able to live on this. It seems that other people before me have done so, and they even say that they enjoy it and can find jobs. I hope that will be my case too and that I'm not wasting time in my career.

I was glad to find the Translation Journal on the Internet, and I really liked what I read. Please keep up the great work, and make sure every translator in the world finds out about the journal. For future issues, you could add an archive that allows the reading of past articles. Articles like Pers will be valuable for translators for some time.
